Liberals Calling Liberals "Socially Conservative"

Yesterday in a press release Liberal MP Lise Zarac labelled opposition to including all family planning options in an international initiative as socially conservative, little did Ms. Zarac know, Conservatives don't have a monopoly on being conservative.

Hours before the vote on a motion calling on the government to include "the full range of reproductive health options” in its international maternal and child health initiative, MP Lise Zarac said in response to the Conservative Party's planned opposition to it, "Once again, the government is putting its socially conservative ideology ahead of the best interests of women and girls."

However as votes were cast, and it was seen that three Liberal MPs opposed the motion as well leading to its defeat, Ms. Zarac must have realized just how social conservatives can be, as they haven't just stuck to their party, they've joined others.

What amazes me Scott, is that Liberal MPs were not aware of the so-cons in their party.
Or they were and totally expected them to sit there and listen to the demonizing of Pro Life MPs.

Of the 13 that were absent, 7 of them are identifiable Pro Lifers, 3 more abstained and 3 voted against.
That's almost 1 in 5 Lib MPs.

What amazes me even more wilson is that you continue all over the blogsphere and no body is even listening to you.

I happen to like a party that lets their mp's voices heard regardless of the party line.

I also happen to think that the so called vote did not look good for the Reformers either. It simply showed their contempt of womens issues and by doing that, they killed any chance they had of collecting more womens votes. Say bye bye Harpercrit.
