Liberals, No One Forgets The Common Refrain

You don't spread a message by only saying it once.

This Conservative government has created Canada's largest deficits, the largest government and has spent more money than any other Canadian government before it.

On the most important things people don't just speak up and than sit back down, smug that they changed the world. No, when the Canadian economy is stagnating, when our productivity is in decline, when our own government is projecting to be in the red for years to come, after standing up, you don't sit back down, and you certainly don't stop speaking.

This Conservative government has created Canada's largest deficits, the largest government and has spent more money than any other Canadian government before it.

When schools want to educate their students they go over each lesson, again and again. When churches want to enlighten their followers they go over each parable, again and again. When companies want to increase sales they advertise their products, again and again. These institutions may be different but their goals are the same, to change minds. One of the most powerful ways to do that is repetition.

This Conservative government has created Canada's largest deficits, the largest government and has spent more money than any other Canadian government before it.

Conservatives can't debate their poor economic performance, they can only change the issue. With the economy being so important, Liberals cannot let them. Nor can Liberals allow feelings of redundancy or urges for novelty push them onto another topic. The message can't change, but the way we tell it can and should. Though it's easier to spread a thousand different messages one way, Liberals have to spread one message every way, to everyone.

This Conservative government has created Canada's largest deficits, the largest government and has spent more money than any other Canadian government before it.

Many Canadians including various news reporters and pundits have the mistaken belief that Conservatives are strong fiscal managers, these people continue to hold that belief because no one has made them confront the reality of this Conservative government's dismal economic record. One could give credit to the Liberal Party for pointing this out on a few occasions, however Liberals tend to do only that then shut up and sit down as if their job was done and all of Canada was convinced. But Liberals have to recognize that you don't spread a message by only saying it once.

This Conservative government has created Canada's largest deficits, the largest government and has spent more money than any other Canadian government before it.
